I was told RIR, not so sure

Here are two pictures of my son's chicken "Wahoo" We were told she(

) is a Rhode Island Red, but I don't think so from the black & white feathers.

Any help for a newbie

Looks like a she and I agree and RIR with some other mix. She's a beautiful mutt!
