I went to the hatchery

I went to the hatchery just to "look" at the chicks. Well, I couldn't resist myself and brought home a Speckeled Sussex to add to the flock. She was born on Tuesday, so she is 4 days old. My other girls accepted no problems. I got them last week. Now I have a flock of 4 beautiful little baby pullets.

Congrats! I'm knew to the chicken keeping world but I hear this is common... never go to just "look." You're just lying to yourself if you think you'll go home without new chickens. LOL

Your absolutely right! I was going to look at their brahma's, but they were sold out. The SS's looked so cute and they are suppose to be very friendly. I'm so happy my other girls accepted her right away. I was a little worried due to only bringing one home.
