My incubator, a still air, dropped significantly in degrees when I took out the egg turner 3 days ago. I got it back up to temp, which took several hours of slow modifications so I wouldn't over-cook the eggs. Then this morning 3 had hatched out, and the temp dropped again. i thought it was because one of them knocked the thermometer onto the ground instead of up at the egg height. I got back home today from work, took out the dry chicks and set the thermometer back up to egg height. It was reading 94!!! Nobody touched the settings, yet it had dropped 6 degrees and stayed that way for probably several hours. No others had pipped or hatched out during the day either. Do you think they're still viable? I got the temp back up to 100 now and hopefully it will stay there!!!! 6 eggs left in the incubator!

Possibly...the way I see it, the hen HAS to get up now & then...so, you get coolings once in a while with eggs.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!
