They could be the begining of fowl pox as dawg53 mentions. To me they look more like insect bites. It's the swelling around what looks to be a hole that isn't what I would usually associate with fowl pox.

Agreed. Central Florida = mosquitos = fowl pox. Possibly yellow flies but chickens quickly snatch them up for a quick snack.

I do have mosquitoes and yellow flies. Is it cause for concern
