Idea for Chicken Easter Egg Treats

Give me any idea's to alter this recipe. I got the main recipe from one of my chicken magazines. I made the normal treat cakes which was fairly easy. Just wondering how it will translate into the egg shape. Also any other idea's on natural dyes for treat eggs?

I know that, just not sure if it will hold together in the middle when you put the two ends together/how well the two ends will stick together once they cure. Maybe some extra coconut oil in the middle to be certain it holds down the middle?

They're gonna tear them apart pretty quick anyway as soon as they warm up.
