What is the ideal temperature for a chicken coop over winter.
 
Personally I would say anything above the freezing mark. That way you don't need to worry about waterers turning into ice cubes or splitting. If you are considering temps based on keeping egg production up then you are best to keep it at 40 degrees or so.

Chickens can tolerate much colder temps than those listed above without any harm coming to them.
