Ideal's Geese??

[Poultry Run Farm]

My Daughter wants to get some Brown China's and some American Buff's, while doing a search found that ideal has both. Has any one here ever gotten these from them and if so how was the quailty? Breed Standard? Thanks

Holderread sold their Pilgrims (and maybe their Buffs?) to Metzer. You might try there.

The one in the back is their version of an African female.

The gander I was very pleased with...he was a bit on the "special" side though...VERY special...

I LOVE Metzer Farms. I ordered 10 female ducks of various breeds and 2 straight run geese, one white chinese and one brown chinese. They all arrived in perfect shape, and they are still very healthy today at six months old. I was thrilled to discover that I had lucked out and gotten one male and one female goose, my only dissapointment is that the Welsh Harlequin turned out to be a drake, but all well. If I ever want more ducks or geese, I will definitely order from Metzer again!
