Ideas for a small coop + run

Hey all,

I would like to know if there’s any recommended blueprints I could follow for a small-scale, economical, and straightforward housing system I could build for two hens that I would like to separate from the rest of the flock. I would like to fence off a small section around the area, and I would also like a locking system to the coop. Thanks!

For 2 chickens,, you don't need a large structure. Consider getting a Dog House,, and modifying with doors,, windows,, and ventilation to your needs.
Need a floor, and possibly have raised/elevated. That would provide shade from sun. As well as a dust bath dry area under.
I think it would be a more secure option compared to the entry level prefab coops.
