Not that I need it yet! But after yesterday's gardening, I can hardly type I'm so sore. The Dream Coop, promised by family to be built this year, might oughta have all the help possible for someone who can't move around so well. For future need. Don't need wheel chair access, just can't lift and carry and muscle things around like I used to. I'm feeling my mortality this morning!

Our specifics:
Atlanta area - hot humid summers, occasional ice and snow, summer thunderstorms, damp winters
Predators - everything except bears, panthers, bobcats. I think.
Population - 5 hens currently. Of course I want more!!! Walk in coop and run.
Site: Middle of garden, NE of the large ornamental pear, gentle slope less than 5% also faces NE. Space currently occupied by last year's compost bins that are being emptied onto the garden. No electricity, no plumbing available.

My current ideas:
One of those rain barrel to little red waterer thingies.
Feed hopper/bin that'll hold a 50# bag of feed at a time. If I can't find someone to hoist the bag in, I can scoop it in.
All the poop management details I can do! Poop board and access door carefully calculated for my height, reach and dropping into the wheelbarrow/wagon. Deep litter method too.

What little devices, fixes, adjustments can you excellent people suggest? I would worry about cost, but I REALLY don't want to go back and redo anything. I'm a "do it right the FIRST time" kind. PHOTOS are very much appreciated! Thank you so very much
