Ideas to predator proof movable duck run?

Our 5 ducks free-range most of the time on our 2 acre pond. They have a duck house we lock them up in at night. However, for the times we go out of town for a few days at a time, I'd like to build a small predator proof run onto the front of their coop to keep them in while we're gone. Is it Ok to line the bottom of the run with chicken wire or hardware cloth or do you have any better ideas to make it predator proof from animals digging under? I'm worried what would hurt the ducks feet? I'd rather not bury a skirt of hardware cloth on the outside, as we'd like to move it around the yard as needed.

Have you considered hot wire around the coop and pen ?

The only way I can think to do predator proof and mobile would be with solar electric fencing/poultry netting.
