Identifying scab on beak

Hello byc, have another illness question! I am going out of town soon and don’t have time to do a ton of research so I figured i’d ask the pros.

Does this look like an injury scab, or a sign of infection? I noticed it on one of my pullets today.

My cockerel has a tiny scab at the base of his comb but it’s already healing

Could be injury from scraping on fencing or poking her beak through fencing.

I'd watch it and see if it gets better/worse or stays the same.

thank you i put some vetericyn and blu kote on her. i’ll keep an eye on it!
