These are pictures of "Ducky". We named her that because she was slow to get her big girl feathers...she was our "sweet ugly duckling". She is 19 weeks old and should be named "Goosey" since she has a voice like a goose with a bawk bawk hoonnkk honk. She talks A LOT and we smile and laugh a lot.

We don't know what breed she is and have not found any pictures that look like her other than in Storey's Illustrated Guide to Poultry Breeds that shows her feathers are partridge.

Any ideas of her breed would be appreciated (we are curious).

Does she have a straight comb? I can't really tell from the pics. If she does have a straight comb, I would guess she is a partridge rock.

That's definitely a partridge rock! I have a PR roo and 2 hens. My hens look identical to that hen. I love the dark chocolate color lacing.
