Identity issues.

We bought three baby turkeys in April from our local Atwoods. Can any of you turkey experts tell me what breed they are based on how they look now, at 7 weeks? They are our first ever turkeys and what they are is a mystery to me.

I saw two of them strutting for some of the young chickens, and all three look pretty much the same, so I think I have all boys.

They look like Bronze Turkeys to me.

 

[Cuban Longtails]

Broad Breasted Bronze. Atwoods typically contracts with Ideal Hatchery, and they tend to only get the Broad breasted Bronze, and broad breasted whites.
