If a banty roo mates with a heavy breed hen will the eggs be small?

Twice now we have had an egg that is half the size of the rest of the eggs. It started after I put a banty silky(well his daddy was a silky the momma a barred rockor something like that) I don't know if there is a new hen laying eggs or if the roo makes the eggs small. Heres a picture, you can really tell the difference in person. thanks.

ROFL I noticed one of my black and white one (I think there silver laces but not sure) was getting broody. Hopefully shes laying some eggs but man there tiny!! The female banties are in another coop and I'm dying to see them lay but no show so far. No idea when it will happen they are adults. C

My friend Freebie has 5 mille fleur hens that are a year old now and they are great layers, even tho their eggs are on a much smaller size. The bantams started laying the small size as her standard size hens.
