Eggs in the bater for 2 weeks. Were doing great...nice even temps. Until about 4 days ago. I don't know if it is the thermometer I'm using or the heating element. All of a sudden I'll peek in and the digital thermometer I have in there reads 113 or something awful like that. So I open it up but it doesn't feel too hot. 113 would be very warm. Sauna warm. So then I close it up and come back an hour later and its 99.8. Ugh. Tonight I peeked in and it was 108. Again, just normally warm so I closed it up an just checked again and it as 98.something. I candled a few on Sunday and from what I could see everything looked good. It even smells unusually good in there...no rotten egg smell like some times.
I'm thinking I better do lockdown right away Sunday morning because if I'm having heat spikes and they survived they are gonna be early hatchers. They are due 1 week from today.
Ugh...this is emotionally exhausting.
