If eggs go unturned for a day?

At stage day # 10 to 14 if they went not turned for a day (24 hrs) would that cause a problem?

It can cause the embryo to "stick" to the shell, causing death.

Check out this study http://ps.fass.org/content/85/8/1498.full It says basically that you don't have to turn chicken eggs from day 8 to day 14 for a successful hatch. I say if you're going to be gone don't stress about not being able to turn them for a few days in the 10-14 day range.

Interesting - I've got things that say it isn't until after day 14 that you can not worry about turning.

Probably just like every study out there - there are always multiple opinions and you just have to take your chances with whatever action you decide to take.
