If the breed you have was named instead for their main characteristic, what would they be called?

“Ruler of the treetops” :lau
My EE hen loves to fly! Fortunately we broke her of the tree roosting habit.

edited to add: maybe “peeping Tom” would be more accurate, she flies up onto my windowsill to look for treats daily

Loud!

Recently got an Australorp Rooster for my ladies (love the coloring and he's a really friendly rooster). This boy just LOVES to crow!

On a fun side note, he also gets confused when the girls start up their egg song (the "buk buk buk.. bukGAWK!") and likes to add his own scream to the end of it to help them out.

Gosh, there are so many traits to pick from with my Dorkings, I'm not sure I could pick just one! Lumbering Cuddlers, maybe? :p

I already call my Old English Game bantams my Teeny Tinies because they are so eensy weensy small, so I guess that would be it for them.

Cochin bantams, they're definitely Sassy, Sassy, Sassy! I have them in silkied and smooth, so I guess they would be categorized as Sassy Fuzzballs and Sassy Fluffballs. 🤣 The large fowl would instead just be Giant Fluffballs because they don't have so much of the sass.

I think the Easter-eggers could mostly be called Barbers. They like to make sure each others' beards are well trimmed.

My Marans, they'd definitely be Nosies! Can't do a darn thing out there without a nosy Marans in the way!

I have other breeds, too, but if I kept going on them I'd be here typing all day 🤣
