If you make your own feed what do you put in it?

I don't need an exact recipe LOL just a general idea.

I'm not big on buying premade stuff and would prefer a more simple and effective feed. Right now they get a lot of fresh produce and tons of free range time. I currently have six and hope to expand to 20 and I'm using Layena.

Do a search here for home made feeds, there have been threads in the past that discussed this. Basically, you'll spend more making your own mix than you'd spend just buying feed if you make something that really has everything they need in it.
