I finnally got the lil stinker to crow while I was filming...well I had almost given up I should say and finnally when I almost turned off the camera, he crowed!
BTW this is their temp. home so no worries about it being small.

The first time Ike crowed, I seriously thought it sounded like after you have a water balloon fight, if you step on a exploded balloon that still has water and some air in it...that gurgle noise he he!!!!
You can't get yours to crow?? I can't get mine to shut up!!
This morning when I was feeding, I had a baby (5 week old) male in the box...'hehehe'...the adult male in the tank...'luke, I am your father'...and both male A&M's...Look at MEEEEEEE!!!!!....I was about to cook them all!! And on top of that the baby ducks were peeping their heads off like they were starved!
Yeah, theres one brown male (guarrenteed male) in the brooder tank with Ike and the others and he hasn't so much as made a peep yet. They're all 6 weeks old on monday...dunno why they're being so slow. Ikes been crowing since he was 4 weeks or something like that...i forget what age he started. I'm begging the white coturnix to crow.....
it just happend today for me. i am so glad i know what it was. i was doing chores and out of no where the craziest sound twice in a row. it was the boys....
Hehe, I had one a while back who had the strangest little camp crow. I was sat in the other room and they were in the brooder waiting to be sold and it was a "What was THAT" moment? His much butcher brothers were all stood round staring in disgust.
