You see, mom isn't keeping any extra roosters so I've tried to hide it as long as I can.. this week, the man in me has come out .. I'm a rooster, right??

Yes, he has lovely saddle feathers.



Saddle feathers are located just in front of the tail. On cockerels/roosters the feathers grow long (many inches), thin, pointy and flowing. The feathers will eventually cover the tips of the wings. On a pullet/hen the "saddle feathers" are fat, short and rounded.
