I'm a new chicken enthusiast looking to add to my flock!

I got my first two hens at the feed store and became obsessed! I would like to add a Silkie hen to my flock... Will the different breeds be ok in the same coop?
I plan to get a young silkie and raise it separately until it gets around the same size as my other girls (researched pecking order).

Any suggestions would be so helpful!

Nothing wrong with a flock of different breeds, go for it. Good that you researched pecking order because that will come into play, If possible I would add a companion or two with the silkie though as she will definitely get sent to the bottom of the pecking order with two other birds that a familiar with each other.
