Good evening everyone :)

I'm Sylvie. Yesterday my brother and I gave my dad 4 hens and a beautiful home made coop for his 50th birthday.
As I've been very involved in buying the hens I will be ensuring they are looked after :) hence why I've joined this brilliant group- I hope I'll be able to pick up so great tips from you guys.
Please feel free to look at my photos. At present our lovely hens/pullets are in a temporary home as we are building a run and attaching it to the coop my brother has built.
I've already made mistakes- apparently Apple pips are a potential killer :( but I'm learning- quickly!
Anyways that's enough about me and our 4 beauties.
Look forward to reading the forums and looking at the photos of all your amazing birds!

Welcome, I'm a newbie to, some one gave me 10 road reds about a year age, and i got bit by the chicken bug bad LOL. So now i have the 10 reds, 30 golden comets, 3 bard rock, 2 buff, and 2 roo,BYC has hepled understand a lot, i only wish i joined sooner... good luck, and look forward to hearing from you...........
