I am new to raising chickens. I just bought 4 last Sunday.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently, I have 3 chickens. I purchased 4, but one died on the third day.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have one Golden-Laced Wyandotte named Paprika and two Silver-Laced Wyandotte's named Pepper and Rosemary.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I did a google search on raising chicks.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I'm really into gardening right now. This is only my second year with my own vegetable garden. I'm very excited.
I also sew and do various multi-media art
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My name is Maxine. My spouse and 3 children just moved to a new house. We're still unpacking and settling in. No other pets currently. I work one day a week at Trader Joes, otherwise, I am a SAHM.
It's been a dream of mine to have chickens. I love eggs!
