I am a newby to the world of chickens and am amazed at the growth rate of baby chicks. They went from babies to big girls in just four and a half weeks! I am wondering if they are ready to live in their new coup yet.

Hi and welcome to BYC. Depending on night temperatures, you should be able to move them to the coop in a week or so. Be sure to put them put them outdoors for a couple of hours each day to acclimatise them. Here are some helpful links:

The low temperatures are in the 70’s occasionally mid 60’s. Should be warm enough for them. It’s well built and insulated. I have to move them out today because they have outgrown their brooder. They’ll love having room to flit around. I’ll keep them in the coop for a couple days till the run is finished.
