Hey Y'all! I just made a new account! (Deleted the old one because i no longer have chickens) So I remember seeing a thing about hatching normal store bought eggs and there was a process before you put them in the incubator...can anyone please tell me how to do this? I am going to try and show my niece the life-cycle of an embryo. Thank you so much for taking time to read this!

There are quite a few threads on hatching store bought eggs, mostly Trader Joe and Whole Foods if you want to do a search ie https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...cery-store-egg-hatching-club-are-you-a-member They usually recommend to be sure to let them warm up to room temperature before putting them in the incubator / you do not want to set cold eggs.
