I'm back!
On Thursday the 8th, we left to take a road trip down to Louisiana where we would embark on a 5 day cruise. The cruise went to Mexico and back to Louisiana.
Of course, we wouldn't just drive to Louisiana; we would have to stop at a few national parks, beaches, and what not. Our first stop was in Mississippi at Vicksburg national Military Park. It was very interesting, but to tell you the truth, I was more interested in the strange flowers.

After that, we headed back out on the road.
A day or two of driving later, we got to Louisiana at around 1 in the morning. I took many pics of the flowers the next morning.

Later that day, we boarded the cruise ship! Sadly, I was so excited that I didn't take any pictures on the ship, or at the stops.
It was awesome! Free food, a pool, hot tubs, mini golf, volleyball, basketball, and much more!
The first day we were at sea. The 2nd day, we stopped in Progreso, Mexico. It was awesome! The only bad part was the sun. *Note to self- Don't forget to re-apply sunscreen several times!* Ouch!
I was determined to find some kind of rooster souvenier, but I didn't. However, I did find a beatuiful hand-painted Owl.

The next day we stopped in Cozumel, Mexico. This time, I remembered to re-apply sunscreen.
They took us to a private beach where we swam, ate, shopped, and much more!
This time, I lucked out and found a beautiful hand-painted rooster.

The next day was another day at sea.
And the following day, we got off the ship. But we didn't start driving home- Oh no! We went up to beautiful Pensacola Beach, Florida. There, we stayed at a great hotel. It had a beach with emerald green water and white sand.
Those are hermit crabs.

By then I was getting pretty homesick.... as you can see.

The next day, we drove through a national park (That I can't remember the name of).
I took this pic while we were driving, so I'm suprised it turned out as good as it did.

After that, we headed home. I missed my chickens, and BYC, very bad by now.
I took some pics when we stopped to stretch in Kentucky.

Happy Saint Patty's day!

A storm approached as we drove through Kentucky.

9 hours of driving later, we were home! We were greeted by are wonderful chickens.
"Where were you?"

What a wonderful trip! It was much longer than it sounded.
I hope you enjoyed reading this!
So, did you go on vacation? If so, where did you go?
