Hola mucho gusto. Maybe someday I can get some of those hens over here to Peru. I have a hen they call a Columbiano, but it has blue eggs and isn't that giant.
This is a few chickens in my flock.
Sire: Rogelio
Dames: Gertudis, Elsie, Mary, Francia .
This was my first chickens, I have 4th generation. Here, in Colombia, yhis feathers colors are called "Milflor" (by Millefleur); and this is "criollos" (no breed, mix many animals, many breeds in past). In present time, the tendence is "Criollos Gigantes" (Giants Crele/Mestizos), males with 100cm or more; females with 80cm or more.
Also, I have: Marans, Bielfelder, Orpington, Plymouth, Dominique, Barbu, Brahma and Ameraucana/EE. (One couple in each breed).
Poultry is my passion (I'm Sociologist); but everybody call me: "Mr. Chicken" due I like to learn about chicken genetics(crosses, egg colors and feathers) .
