I'm Feeling So Bad,,I had to put a hen down today,,Help!!

I'm so sad for you and your other chickens :aww You are very brave in doing what you knew was best for your chicken. I have a hen that's been gurgling for almost 2wks. now. I've spent hundreds at the vet trying to make her better. I am beginning to think that I may have to take her to be put to sleep.

if she doesn't get better soon. I guess we just do what we can for our chickens. I had to have my dalmation put to sleep. It was terrible, but the pain does fade. Big hugs to you.

I had a beautiful and frendly pullet that kept prolapseing so, we had to kill her . yeah i hated to do it but, i did not want to see her suffer any more.
