I'm getting some bantam eggs today!

And I was wondering if they hatch out like bigger chicks or if there's any thing I need to do differently for them? I have a mini incubator and I'm only getting 3 or 4 bantams and 3 australorp eggs.

Congratz on the eggs! I Think it'll be totally fine to put them together depending on your incubator. Can you send a picture of the incubator with a 1 bantam and 1 normal sized egg?

Also, they do hatch out as different sizes.

I think you can see the bigger egg on the right and bantam on the left. It's a brinsea mini advance incubator. I hatched 5 out of 7 of the 1st batch I put in there 2 weeks ago. My only problem was when the hatchlings smothered one of the little pips that hadn't made it out yet. But I read that bantam eggs hatch a day early? So maybe I have that on my side. Me too! This will probly be my last hatch this year. No more room for chickies
