yeah they do hatch like this.. WOULDNT THAT BE FUN HAVING A PURPLE OR BLUE OR GREEN CHICK HATCH OUT OF YOUR BADER!! lol
it use to be away to identify hatching compatablitys but the found it to be dangous and found a better way to mark them... (leg bands)

this is how they do it... it got so popular in florida that people would buy them for easter that they had to band the whole prosses in that state. they had abandened color chickens all over the place!! lol that would be fun.
