I am incubating my eggs in a homemade incubator that my husband and I made. I incubated 6 eggs in it last fall and they all hatched and we had no problems. This time around hasn't been so easy. I am having humidity issues, issues with my hygrometers and thermometers, and I'm losing babies left and right! I will attach photos of my incubator and thermometers. I have a thermometer that turns the light on at 99.5 degrees and off at 100.5 f°. It is also connected to the fan so when the light comes on, the fan comes on. I had the light dimmed but it would flicker so I had to turn the light up a bit. I started out with 12 eggs, I'm down to 6 now and we are on day 11. I also only had the blue thermometer to test out the humidity, but I bought the smaller one 2 days ago to see if they would give the same number or not. Idk which is wrong and I'm completely lost as to what to do at this point. Any advice would be so appreciated. I don't want to lose any more babies. 😔

I also have 4 small holes on either side of the incubator for vents, and I am having to open the bigger hole when the humidity gets up to 55% and then close it when it gets back down to 50%. Last time I didn't have to do this because the humidity stayed consistent throughout the whole experience.
