Last night I put in 60 eggs from Mrs. AK-Bird-Brain humidity was 46, in an attempt to get it higher I put some more water got up to check it again saw that it was 51 figured good... woke up this morning to 70 humidity I'm going to be so upset if I just ruined another 60 eggs.

nope wont hurt htem at this stage one bit like saddina said. just lower it during the day and watch it to make sure it doesnt keep doing that while you're sleepin

I do staggered hatches almost twice a week...that means MANY times eggs that are still devleoping are dealing with one day of 40-50 % humidity to another spike for a few days of 65% humidity never had a problem with drowning

The key is to just make sure it isnt too wet anytime during incubation

Even during hatching ofcourse as too much is too much

You're not horrible at it you'll get the hang of it

Quail eggs like humidity, I don't think you've harmed them at all. I've read many people that run their incubators with 65% humidity during incubation. I don't keep mine quite that high, but it is high. At least 50%, but right now it's about 63%, and has been for 3 days. I can't find a happy medium.

Either it's 35-40% or 60+. But I keep chickens, ducks, guineas, and quail all in the same bator, and it doesn't seem to affect any of them.

That won't hurt them. It might even help them. Mine kept hitting up to 70% for the first few weeks. It finally got steady, but I ended up with 100% hatch. Good Luck
