I would love to join in the fun. I have 6 hens and 1 rooster. The two who usually go broody are my buff orpington and giant cohchin. Hopefully, they will get in the spirit of things and we can be a part of your Hatch-A-Long.

Cochins are my go to broodies. Excellent mothers and since they aren't great layers, I don't miss their eggs.

I agree about the giant cochins. They are such sweet tempered birds.

We are getting two weaner pigs to raise for meat in March. Our adult chickens free range in the pasture that the pigs will be in. Anybody experience trouble with the two critters meeting?

I am joining the party one day late. My Buff Orpington just took 14 fertile Barbezieux eggs. I am hoping to start a dual purpose flock.
