Hello from California. I got my chickens at the beginning of May, they are now about 4 1/2 months old and I am totally hooked. My kids already tell me that I love the chickens more than I love them
I have a black Silkie, a Salmon Faverolle, a Barred Rock (I'm pretty sure it's a roo), a Lavender Orp (also a roo? boo hoo), a red sex link, and 4 EEs. I have been getting one little egg every other day (from my silkie?) and can't wait until they all start laying.
I have been gleaning information from this board for months now, so I would like to say "Hello".
