Happy Sunday

After my introduction I've been lurking around in here, finding so much useful information and interesting threads, whilst enjoying getting to know my new family members, the 3 ducketeers 🥰 they are growing soo fast!! I am just in awe over the personalities they have and they are so sweet and clumsy. I laugh a lot.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the warm and helpful people in here, taking their time to help each other out and engaging in strangers small and bigger concerns.

I have no prior experience with ducks, and I regret that I didn't learn more before getting them, because I've had a few sleepless nights and worried a lot for their health and well-being. I think they are doing good and they seem content and happy. Attaching a picture and a couple of links to videos of the little buggers ❤️ they are outgrowing their brooder, and will move into a new room today 😉wishing you all a wonderful day!

LOVED the sleepy duckling video. They are so precious!

Sounds like you've gotten a lot of support here at BYC, and I can assure you that no matter how much you think you know before you get (fill in the blank here with chicks, ducklings, goslings, whatever), you are never totally prepared for taking care of them. And, it sure looks like you are raising happy, healthy ducklings.

Hope the babies enjoy their new room!

I'm so happy I stumbled upon both the ducklings and this forum 🥰 looks like the ducklings took a liking too their new space, much needed, but now I'm a bit concerned it might be too big.. oh, the worries haha

They have a heat lamp around 50 cm from their little nest, I decided to swap out the pine shavings with hay, due to my fear of them eating the shavings and also it was dusty and yuckie. They swap between laying under the heat lamp and on a blanket on the floor. Their food and water is placed nearby as well. The floor is a bit slippery and tomorrow I will but some rugs or so all over.
