Hi everyone!
My name is Jenny. I live in a wee little town called Yelm in WA.
This is our first time raising chickens. Oh my gosh, I'm in love! I've always been fine with them, but these girls!!!!! They've stolen my heart. I feel so peaceful when I'm around them. They make me laugh. I wish we'd done this sooner! They're so cute!
Only slightly was a victim of chicken math, lol. We wanted 4. First batch was delayed in the mail so only 1 made it. Was very sad. We got 3 more, 1 ended up a rooster (thanks to many of you who helped with that!). So, we needed 1 more... So of course got 2
. 5 isn't too bad though! We have plenty of space.
