Well, today is day 14 on the eggs I got from Shelly, and things have gone unusally well.

Humidity has stay at 40-50% the whole time.

Temp has only varied form 99 to 101. (Thermometers with memories rock).

I have not opened the bator even to candle, I'm just playing patient.

So tonight I take them out of the turners, and then play the waiting game until Sumday-Monday. Wish me luck.

And someone tell me what humidity I should have for hatching? I can't remember.

Good luck! I just got some eggs from her today so i will be interested to hear how your hatch goes. I think 65 to 75% humidity but better let someone a little more experienced advise you!! I have still air bators and just keep the trays full when the time comes to stop turning. Hope all goes well!!!! Brad

Yep, at least 65% humidity, higher is better. Though, with larger hatches, my humidity has always shot through the roof once they all start popping out! Good luck, you should be overrun in a few days!

I got eggs from ShelleyD July 6---- And they were

1) Delayed in the mail (NOT her fault)
2) Impeccably packed (Somehow, the PO system STILL managed to break one!)
3) Traumatized by incubator failure, hatcher failure, emergency incubator seizures....
4) and TADAAAA!!! On day 19, we have 7 chicks so far! 5 more eggs waiting. The little boogers keep going over to different eggs and tapping on them -- looks like they're waiting to hear back from inside!

Earlier, all 7 of them crowded around one, and one little one threw it's tiny wing over the egg, like "Come on, buddy! You can do it!"

ShelleyD's eggs are FANTASTIC!
