Welcome! I know how you feel!! I grew up around chooks, but I left home 9 years ago and haven't had anything to do with birds since- until the arrival of my four mixed breed bantams! Why, I was shocked to see them, On their second night here, roosting up a tree! Have a giggle at me trying to extract them!!

But chooks are great. I hope you have fun with yours, and you don't gave any serious dilemmas!!

When I first came home with my chicks... the first thing I did after put them in their new home was have a drink. I was a nervous wreck. They were so tiny!! But the chicks and I survived. Thanks to all the info on this site. So you will do fine. Welcome.
