Anyone have a good place to pick up a dozen fertilized pure breed Silkie eggs? Prefer mixed color possibilities. Thank you.

I'm in the Augusta, Georgia area. I'm happy to pay for extra cushioning in the packing and for overnight or two day shipment as well as for the eggs, of course. I just love this breed.I'm gonna be breeding a bunch of Silkies soon, I might be able to arrange something. Where's your location?
Okay, I'll have to discuss this with my parents first.I'm in the Augusta, Georgia area. I'm happy to pay for extra cushioning in the packing and for overnight or two day shipment as well as for the eggs, of course. I just love this breed.
I know, no worries.Be careful on mailing eggs for hatching. Eggs wont break with great packing efforts but nothing protects the air cell from rupturing. Id love to purchase some silkily hatching eggs too but Im looking for some near SF California. Not going to buy mailed eggs again. When I did all air cells ruptured so none hatched. Mailing services do not pay attention to request to handle packages carefully; they take such notices as a dare.
Good luck, I hope you find you're looking for.Unfortunately I know this to be true. I have a friend who worked at the USPS mail distribution center in Oakland, CA and he told me exactly why all the eggs had broken air cells, what the packages go through on their trip through the system. "Water-fall" like drops and of course the carriers themselves. I am hoping to find silkie eggs close enough by me that I can pick them up. I hate to order chicks as I dont like putting the poor things through the trip either.
I understand how you feel about shipping the birds, or eggs.Id love to be able to come pick them up but I dont think that is possible. Eggs/chicks, just dont want to put them through the torture of mailing.
