My warm and fuzzy feelings aren't offended at all.
The "concerned" neighbor that has been feeding these two cats has stopped feeding them in the last few days because they have been served with an eviction notice. After that notice, the cats have been going hungry, so both will go to the humane society or to the local shelter tomorrow. She can't or won't feed them, then they need to go because we have more than enough cats that we're rounding up for neutering and spaying that we fed and have come to know our house as home and while those cats leave the chickens alone and thier feed, the other two cats do not heed normal barn cat behavior, and will steal food from a grown chicken and a roo right there.
So, tomorrow, no worries they are both gone. I'm not going to shoot them, they are hungry, lonely and let down from an irresponsible person who can't support herself, and her husband who is even less responsible than she is.
I'm going to make sure that these two are safe, warm and are not stressed and can be safe from my chickens, and the soon hatching peepers and from the hunger they are going through daily right now.
My cats are going through getting neutered and spayed so unless someone drops more out here, we're good for now with well fed, happy mousers that leave the chickens alone.
