Hello! I am moving in late August. The drive will most likely be 11 or 12 hours. I am planning on transporting them in large plastic bins similar to the brooder they were in with air-holes and their usual bedding. I will also be offering them water in a dish everytime we stop. Does anybody see anything wrong with that or have any other tricks? Also, random side question, I have been looking for female polish chickens for a while. My Pet Chicken where I usually get them is sold out for the whole year. Does anyone know any other places I can get them? They must be sexed.

If you are crossing state lines, or even more if you are trying to cross international borders, there are regulations, tests, and health certificates likely needed. Find out now, so you can get things done in time!
