Howdy all,
just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from Arkansas, have a wonderful husband for 21 years, 3 full grown children and lots of grand children. I am just getting back into chickens and other animals now after being without for about 5 months due to a few pitbulls goind haywire. I ordered me some barred rocks that are now 3 weeks old (man how I miss my homegrown eggs!), and I have ordered some cornish x rocks that are due to come in either tomorrow or friday. I'm on pins and needles waiting for them! IF I can get everything going on the farm again...I don't think I'll be eating any processed chickens or eggs again...EVER. I now have a Great pyrneese large gueard dog. SO...wish me luck. and glad to meet ya'll.... Beverly

We have an Arkansan thread over in the "where are you from" section.

Hope you find all the help you need here, it's a pretty decent bunch of crazy chicken people!

yeah, that's where I was at and I hit the reply button. I guess it didnt go there and went somewhere else. whoda thunk it. I will try going there again tomorrow. I started out trying to find out how to feed my new cornish x rocks that I am getting in here tomorrow or the next day. I've got 30 barred rocks that are 3 weeks old that I'm raising for eggs. the cornish x rocks are going for another purpose. I will only have them for 6 or 7 weeks. I will try another search on how to feed new chicks again tomorrow too. Thanks a bunch....
