I'm in Alabama and need to ask a question... I have 4 hens & one rooster (Dominecque),,, they are all 5 months old. My rooster pecks on my quiet & shy little Silkie- Blanche. My dad says he will grow out of it, some people say he won't... Whats everyone's opionion ???????? My little Silkie trys to hide from him. :-/

It's there pecking order and some of the biger chickens most of the time peck on the little chickens. It's just what they do. But some times they get bad about it and hurt the little chicken. Just watch you silkie around the other chickens and see what they do.

from Texas. I would keep the Silkie in a separate to keep her from being pecked at. Silkies do well in confinement.
