1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, we have ONE chicken that we found in May 2018, and the owner was never located, so Animal Services told us to go ahead and keep it.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
One (but we want 3 or 4, our local maximum is 4)
(3) What breeds do you have?
Barred Rock, I think
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Google
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Sewing, knitting, my kids, ukulele
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We also have an African Grey parrot and Cockatiel who live inside the house. I've been a SAHM for about 9 years now, but am preparing to return to teaching middle school this fall.
