Hi All,
I'm Tazz and a novice chicken owner in Belgium. I wanted to sign up to thank you all for this wonderful resource. Your tips and tricks have been really helpful. I used the advice of putting up cardboard to keep them from sleeping in the nests, and of putting them in the coop each night (after 3 nights, she went in by herself. Yay!!) and more.
I have 4 chickens, got them a few weeks ago. I have a Red Star, another hybrid that looks like a Rhode Island Red, a Maline and a Pearlgray Cochin. Only the hybrids are laying now. My husband convinced me to get chickens and I'm really surprised how much I love it
They are so funny and cute.
Here is a pic of my flock.
