Hi! I'm new here! My name is Megan and I'm another new chicken and duck owner. We've had our babies for about 4 weeks now. We have 13 chickens and 2 ducks. I THINK we have 8 golden comets, I know I have 4 Easter eggers and honestly I have a little gray one this is actually my favorite but I have no idea what she is but her name is chickaletta. So I also have a chickaletta 
. I really enjoy watching the chicks and ducks. They crack me up. I love learning about them and figuring out what works best for them so they are healthy and happy. I have have other hobbies, I enjoy hiking with my dog and I'm an avid reader. I have a husband who is excited about our chicken/duck journey as well and two daughters a 16 year old and a 3 year old. The 16 year old likes the birds but is a teenager so she's kind of like "meh" and the 3 year old LOVES them. She's a great helper. We have 3 cats and a shar pei dog named Lulu. I'm an art teacher and cannot wait for this school year to be over it has been so stressful. How did I find Backyard Chickens? Every time I googled any questions every answer showed up here!! I had to join! *this picture is just a quick little trip outside, when they were little they didn't go out much*
