I'm not sure who I am....

We came from a house that had just a few months ago almost 400 of us in and when we were picked up and taken to our new low stress house we were still with 150 of our sisters. Who am I? The boy who raised us said we will lay eggs in the next couple of weeks. We were lost and now we have been found. Can anyone tell us who we are?

From looking at pics online they look to be Rhode island Reds possibly. I've been out of the chicken loop for far too long.

They look like Red Sex-linked chickens to me. I have two of them from My Pet Chicken - a 14-week old and an 8- week old. Depending on the hatchery, they can be called different names - Red Stars, Golden Comets, etc. I've heard they can start laying around 16 weeks or so.
