I'm Probably Gonna Need My Hand Held Quail Hatch-A-Long

I think Tiny Lil Nugget is starting to catch up. I can barely hold him and a full sized flock mate in one hand. Only if they cooperate. Right after the pic, Nugget wiggled free and landed on top of the mesh pen lol.

He is still noticeably smaller tho. He’s the farthest right in the next two pics.

Everyone else is still getting a long well, eating, drinking, pooping, sleeping, having the zoomies. And pooping. All the pooping.

Wow, they're all growed up! 😁
Beautiful babies, glad Nugget is catching up.

Tiny Lil Nugget is still chugging along. He/she is almost fully feathered now. And only slightly smaller than some of the smaller non-jumbo birds. He/she still walks wonky, kinda shaky/jerky and actually reminds me of a dog I saw once with mild hydrocephalus.

He/she is the white one in the middle kinda hunched up.

Have you tried a bit of nutri drench or boiled egg? I use them when chicken chicks look a bit dumpy and it seems to help.

I wouldn’t say he’s dumpy. He gets around to the food and water fine, runs away when I go stir up the bedding for them, moves out of the way when the others get the zoomies, preens, etc.

I think it’s either a neurological or physical problem that doesn’t let him move totally normally.

I’m off work the next couple days because we are having flooring replaced and walls painted. I’ll have to see if I can get him out and get a good video of the way he walks. Not sure if he can fly, I don’t think I’ve see him flap his wings.

If you get the video post it in the Emergency forum. Someone might have an idea of what vitamins he might need.
