Lol - I realized this morning, when I woke up before my roosters (again) and just before first light (again) that I must be rooster trained!

Within 5-10 minutes of my waking up, the roosters will start their crowing!

Who would have thought I could be rooster trained? Me - the girl who MUST have 8 hours of sleep to function? Me - the girl who prefers to be a night owl rather than early riser?

Hehehehe, but hey, it's happened.

I'm in awe of this new ability to wake up just before first light! And to stay awake, no matter how tired I am! :) No more alarm clock for me unless it's a special occasion.

Thank you roosters! I love you!

Lol! What kind of roosters do you have?

Buff Orpingtons, Rhode Island Reds, Easter Eggers, Americauna, Barre Rock, Rhode Island Red Cross, Old English Game Bantam, & Carolina Blue Sex Link.

Not everyone can sing yet. I have a (female) Austolorp that can crow. She's got a very soft voice...and a beautiful song.

Not everyone who can sing, chooses to sing the traditional good morning, get up you sleepyhead alarm.

I have one adorable rooster that only crows when I see him in the morning. When I greet him with cheerful good morning, he's done crowing for the day. :)
