I'm sick. :( *A sad thread* .....

Good evening everyone,
I'm bored from sitting around all day, so I thought I'd post a "I'm sick." thread. Well, if your sick, or a family member is sick, feel free to post in this thread about how you/them feel, what your sickness is, etc.

Me? Well I'm sick with a terrible cold. I can't believe it! And in the fall, too. (Fall is my favorite season! ) I have a small fever, and I'm so tired of sitting around blowing my nose. ***BYC, you are the best time consumer! Thank you!*** I just got sick last night, and today will probably be my worst day.... I hope i get better soon. Oh, got to go blow my nose................................................................................ok, i'm back. (I just wish that the icon I just used had a sad face....for once.)

Am I alone, or are there other people out on BYC that are sick too??????

Aw, I hope you're feeling better soon. I'm not sick, at least not yet!
But, you know what they say....Chicken Noodle Soup is best for colds! I hope you have some on hand. It really does make you feel better.

I just have headaches, but, don't think it's from being ill. Just sensitive to a lot of things like fragrances (don't use any). But they seem to stick them into magazines and trick you.

Nope not alone. I've got something, no clue what. I threw up last saturday, and thought I was getting better, but yesterday was hovering over the toilet again. :/ It comes along with a decent amount of fluid in my lungs too so I'm having a hard time breathing, and I cough a lot. I'm so glad I don't have a runny nose though. I think I'd rather be puking than have a constantly runny nose, that makes me crazy.

Hopefully you feel better soon. *shares germs with hugs * :3

I’m not sick, but I was! I got anaplasmosis at the end of August, a tick-borne disease. I thought I had a migraine, so I didn’t seek help right away. By the time I made it to the ER I had sepsis (mild sepsis, nobody panic!). Sepsis is your body’s infection going into all sorts of organ systems. For me, lungs and liver, and my thinking was pretty bad, too. For example, I was unable to turn on my digital thermometer - same one I’ve had for years and works just fine.

Got out of the hospital after 3 days and spent the month of September recovering! Back to normal now.
If you live in tick country, protect yourself! Wear your pants tucked into your socks! Check every single evening. Read up on it! It could save your life. If I didn’t go to the hospital when I did, my life could have been in danger.
